What I fear

We need BRE to return to greatness or our kids are going to suffer even more when they get back to school. We need a great amazing principal that supports the Students and TEACHERS!!! We need amazing teachers that are empowered to help students and make school fun again. The 3 teachers we are asking to be reinstated are those teachers that these kids deserve to have because they care and they were ones running most of the programs at the school. I have heard nothing from Superintendent Enfield on any of these points so that is what I fear the most.

I fear that BRE will not be supported next year. We need BRE to be amazing and fully supported!! Please ask Enfield and all board members to support BRE this Thursday 5/7! The board needs to step up and help BRE!

I love the huge benefit where I have seen the focus on family and the huge worth of Teachers, nurses, fire fighters, paramedics, scientists and doctors. We do need to continue to turn the TV and social media OFF and focus on important people our kids, spouse, parents and friends!

I have been talking to many parents lately and FEAR has overwhelmed our country and the world. I personally do not fear coronavirus/covid-19, now that we have enough data to make a rational decisions and we are better prepared. I think that all lives matter and I pray for everyone to stay healthy. I wish there was an easy solution to keep everyone 110% safe, but no vaccine will be ready for 2 years at minimum.

What I truly fear is how next school year is going to go for our kids education. Overall in California we have politicians and school leaders that I pray want to do the right thing, but seems to have their own agendas instead of doing what is best for our kids. They cannot open schools then shut down again in Sept or Jan, it will literally crush our kids spirits.

Kids need to be in school and interact with other kids. Masks and social distancing is not a solution in school. Only allowing half kids to go to school is not an option on certain days, because all parents will be all back to work soon. Online and homeschooling teaching does not work for all kids. Parents have the right to stay home and home school if they choose. America means choice!

There are small percentage of kids that should stay home if they have real health issues and the school district should accommodate them. Healthy kids should return to school quickly. Yes healthy kids will be exposed to a virus that is 99.9% recoverable and many other flu strains that are more deadly. It is a huge fact of life and how they build their immunity. We cannot put our kids in a bubble and not allow them to get and education and live in fear!

The huge BENEFITS outweigh the risk or we would not get in cars/buses each day in fear of deadly crash and nurses would not go to work when they are exposed to very deadly diseases on daily basis that are truly scary.

Kids need an education from wonderful teachers and be supported by all staff! Special needs students need to have Speech, Occupational, Physical and all therapies!! Kids need recess and PE to run and get there stress and anxiety out! They need to play with friends and laugh together.

More kids are going to die of anxiety and depression than covid-19 if we do not get back to school soon. Even our governor who has been extremely cautions has seen the impact on kids educations and wants us to get them back in school quickly. Sadly look at LA Unified where 60% of kids are unaccounted for…..??

We need BRE to be amazing so our kids will receive a great education and feel safe!
