Over 500 parents have signed requesting that superintendent and board Apply for wavier

It’s time to let our voices be heard and demand the school district apply for a wavier to open in person learning. Our poor kids are suffering from isolation, frustration, anxiety, and depression. We all know, and experts agree, in-person learning is the best way for most kids to learn.

So please join in demanding that schools give parents the choice to allow their kids to return to school in-person. Those parents not ready or comfortable can opt for continued distance learning. This should not stop the kids that are healthy from returning to school.

Why can charter and private schools apply and receive waivers in San Bernardino County, but public schools cannot? 

Several schools in San Bernardino County have been open for in-person instruction since beginning of school year with no Covid outbreaks or shutdowns.

Let’s also look to our neighboring Orange County, who currently have 10 schools districts open and for several months.
