Charter Schools

    1. Highly recommended by Mrs. Warner since she is the District Liaison for school
    2. Lottery closed on Jan 31st for next year, but there is always the next year

Home Schooling

There are so many options to choose from so here is just a few, please share others

Chino Valley District

Home-Based Independent Study https://www.chino.k12.ca.us/Page/2455

  • Alternative instructional program for grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade in the Chino Valley Unified School District. It is designed to serve those parents who are teaching their children at home. Parents provide direction, instruction and monitor student progress. A credentialed teacher works directly with parents by providing curriculum, reviewing the student’s work, and evaluating students’ understanding. 
  • Parents and students meet with the teacher about 3-4 hours per month. Students and parents will sign a contract at the beginning of the program to establish meeting times and goals.

Home school thru Charter schools

If you go through a charter then you get money to buy things for home school like a laptop or your books and extra curricular activities, like soccer or dance.

    1. They teach 1 day a week
    2. You do the other 3 or 4 depending on how much you get done.

Independant

You can even do your own thing entirely without going through a charter or a school..

There are co-ops where parents teach each other’s kids. Like one parents teaches history and another teaches math and another teaches science, etc
